Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Short, because we collect very little.

Plámenos is an AI visibility agency. This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, who we share it with and what you can ask us to do with it. We've kept it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Plámenos ("we", "us") runs plamenos.com and decides how the personal data described here is used. Questions about privacy go to hello@plamenos.com.

What we collect, and why

When you contact us

If you send the form on our contact page, we receive:

  • your name, work email and company (required)
  • your website, the services you're interested in, your budget range and your message (optional)
  • the page you sent the form from

We use this only to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last conversation, or longer if you become a client and the law requires us to keep business records.

If you email us directly, the same applies to what you send.

Analytics and ad measurement, only with your consent

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful: how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they're from (country and city level), what device they use, and which buttons they click (for example, whether someone opened the contact page or sent the form). We don't use Google Analytics for advertising, and we don't sell any data.

The legal basis is your consent. If you click Decline, or don't choose, no analytics or LinkedIn cookies are set and the LinkedIn Insight Tag isn't loaded. Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was loaded) without identifying you, which Google uses to estimate overall traffic.

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted.

If you click Accept, we also load the LinkedIn Insight Tag, so we can tell whether our LinkedIn ads work: how many people arrive from an ad, which pages they visit and whether they send the contact form. LinkedIn reports this to us only as totals and aggregated audience details (such as job function, industry or company size); we never see who you are. LinkedIn may use the data to show you more relevant ads on LinkedIn, under its own privacy policy, and you can control that in your LinkedIn ad settings. LinkedIn removes direct identifiers within 7 days and deletes the remaining data after 180 days.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

Technical data

Like every website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the site secure. This is kept briefly in server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so your browser doesn't contact Google Fonts when you visit.

You can change your choice at any time with the buttons at the end of this page, or by clearing your browser's site data. If you turn cookies off, tracking stops from the next page you open.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers, who process data on our behalf and under contract:

  • Vercel Inc. hosts the website and provides Vercel Web Analytics.
  • Formspree, Inc. receives contact-form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
  • Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC provides Google Analytics (only with your consent).
  • LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company provides the LinkedIn Insight Tag (only with your consent). For this data LinkedIn and Plámenos are joint controllers; LinkedIn handles requests about the data it holds.
  • Tutao GmbH (Hannover, Germany) provides our email service, Tuta Mail. Enquiries arrive and replies are sent from there, with mailboxes stored end-to-end encrypted on servers in Germany.

We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • correct it, or delete it
  • restrict or object to how we use it
  • send it to you or another company in a common format
  • withdraw consent at any time (for analytics, use the buttons below)

Email hello@plamenos.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how we use personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
